Alli and Chris Horst
Alli grew up in the midwest, where smorgasbords took place whenever enough leftovers accumulated. Chris was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania–Amish country–where smorgasbord restaurants, featuring wonderful Pennsylvania Dutch foods, are scattered throughout the countryside.
The thing which makes smorgasbords great is that just about any food, hot or cold, spicy or bland, can make it into the buffet. That’s the way we feel about our blog, Smorgasblurb. It’s a little bit of everything. A little serious, a little funny. Our thoughts from our professional lives in economic development and urban education and ponderings on our favorite things, including our current home. Smorgasblurb. Something for everyone, hopefully.
